Miss Kassidy

Kassidy Mendes has been training in dance for 20 years. She's been with On Your Toes Dance Studio since the opening in 2012, but started dancing at the age of 3. After 1 year of assisting classes, she become an instructor, making this her 7th year of teaching. She is well-rounded in every style of dance OYT has to offer, teaching hip hop, jazz, tap, and ballet. In 2017, Kassidy competed with OYT's dance team, winning 1st place in the Senior Small Group division and Overall Judge's Choice Award for the Senior division at Hollywood Dance Jamz competition. She has performed with the dance team in Disneyland, Disney World and on a Royal Caribbean cruise line to the Bahamas. Her favorite style of dance to teach is jazz and her favorite part of being a teacher is watching the students grow and advance on as dancers.

Kassidy is a Hilmar native. She attended Hilmar High School, where she was captain of the volleyball and softball teams, ASB Music Commissioner, Senior Class Vice President and a part of the Leadership class. After graduating in 2017, she continued her education at California State University, Stanislaus, where she obtained her degree in Business Marketing. Kassidy then went on to become a licensed real estate agent and continues to teach dance while being a full time realtor. On her free time, she likes to have self care appointments and go shopping.
