Miss Luana

Miss Luana has been dancing for 13 years. She has been with On Your Toes Dance Studio since its opening in 2012. This is going to be her 3rd year as an assistant and her 2nd year as an instructor. Luana began as a hip hop teacher and this dance season will be her first year teaching ballet. She specializes in teaching our younger dancers, ages 5-6. Luana is a part of OYT's dance team and has performed at 8 events, including traveling with them to New York and the Bahamas. Luana has been dreaming of being able to teach dance for a long time. Her students always put a smile on her face and she loves watching them improve throughout the year.

Luana grew up in Hilmar and is currently a junior at Hilmar High School. She plans on going to college and becoming an elementary school teacher. Outside of dance, she helps her dad on the dairy and hangs out with her family and friends. She also travels to the Azores with her family almost every year. Luana's favorite place in the world is São Jorge. She is bilingual in English and Portuguese. Luana hopes to make an impact on every single student of hers!
